John Kerry: “I called them smart before I called them stupid.”

John Kerry is reporting for duty! (Kerry previously served in Vietnam, in case you didn’t know)

Unsatisfied with his losing campaign in 2004, he is now trying to destroy the Democrats’ chance of winning big this year. Yet again showing why he will always be Senator John Kerry and a fool at that (not to mention he actually got lower grades than Bush at Yale!).

One thing is clear: Karl Rove’s mind control rays know no bounds!

Update: Wow. After not reading blogs or news today (it’s late Tuesday night) I didn’t realize how huge this is. Kerry has gone completely radioactive. Earlier today Michelle Malkin posted a screen grab of his schedule until Saturday…which now has vanished from his web site. Already a candidate in Iowa has said, “Don’t report for duty here!”

  1. john kerry’s “stupid military” remarks get pretty comprehensive treatment here: john kerry calls american military dumb and lazy.

a heritage foundation study provides data on exactly how “poor and uneducated” the members of america’s armed forces are: Who Are the Recruits? The Demographic Characteristics of U.S. Military Enlistment, 2003–2005. not surprisingly, their empirical data supports the exact opposite conclusion expressed by senator kerry.

for democrats, the single ray of sunshine shining through the dark cloud of kerry’s utter stupidity has to be that it (re)surfaced too late for new would-be voters to register or request absentee ballots.

I guess Senator Kerry thinks that only stupid people or people who can’t get into college will wind up in the military and therefore “get stuck in Iraq”! There are many courageous young people in our all voluntary military who are doing their duty and serving honorably defending our country and fighting terrorists worldwide. Senator Kerry should apologize to our men and women in uniform.

The Democrats may yet seize defeat from the jaws of victory!

  3. I wonder, will Bush ever apologize for his “bring them on” comments? Which one do you think is more disparaging and harmful to our troops?

Newsflash: Troops offended (and disparaged!) that Bush utters fightin’ words!

You are, perhaps, correct that Bush’s comments were not entirely appropriate for a head-of-state. But “bring’em on” is exactly what a lot of the troops say to each other. They are not dumb, nor are they afraid of fighting the enemy.

[…] democrats oppose profiling at airports, wiretapping of calls made from known terrorist phone numbers, aggressive interrogation of war-on-terror detainees, any detention at all of war on terror detainees, the war to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in afghanistan, and the war to enforce UN resolution 1441 in iraq. they called our 30-plus nation iraq coalition “unilateral” because we couldn’t get the bribed french and russians on board. they have called our troops fighting the war nazis, terrorizers of women and children, and stupid.
